Please see our Terms of Service for a description of the Shared Design Alliance (SDA) and its Open Prosthetics (OP) Initiative.
Like most website operators, SDA and OP collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. SDA and OP’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how SDA and OP’s visitors use its website. From time to time, SDA and OP may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
SDA and OP also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. SDA and OP does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information
SDA and OP may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to the OP website. For instance, SDA and OP may reveal how many downloads of designs or other content occur. However, SDA and OP do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
